RADIO PROGRAM

Supporters of AEF have produced four years (September 2002 - November 2006) of continuous weekly radio programming on Hellenic Public Radio (HPR) - Cosmos on WNYE 91.5 FM, and they occasionally continue to produce more programs. HPR is the only daily, bilingual non-commercial Greek radio program in the New York Metropolitan Area. It reaches over 200,000 Hellenic and non-Hellenic listeners each week. The radio program Axion Estin has presented informative historical commentaries from experienced musicologists around the world on the medieval traditions of the Greek musical heritage, as well as relevant examples of Byzantine music.
